On September 26, 2009, the Manitowoc County Hazmat Team participated in a joint hazardous materials exercise with the Sheboygan County Hazmat Team. The exercise involved a simulated release of a chemical with multiple patients down. The chemical was identified, the patients were treated and the situation was mitigated.
